1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using coziekin.com (the "Site") or purchasing any product from Coziekin (the "Brand", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order.

2. Products, Pricing, and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to display products, colors, materials, and dimensions accurately, but do not warrant that descriptions, images, pricing, or other content are error-free, complete, or current. We may, without prior notice, modify or discontinue a product, correct errors, limit quantities, or refuse/cancel any order (including after confirmation) if we suspect fraud or error. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes and shipping unless stated.

3. Orders, Payment, and Fulfillment

Placing an order is an offer to purchase; acceptance occurs when we confirm and dispatch. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your payment method for the order total. Coziekin ships via third-party fulfillment partners; posted timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

5. Product-Safety Notice — Read This (Pet Cooling Products)

Coziekin products are comfort and cooling aids for pets. They are not medical devices and are not a guaranteed prevention of, or treatment for, heatstroke, hyperthermia, or any medical condition. A cooling mat provides a cool-to-the-touch surface; it does not actively refrigerate and is not a substitute for proper care.

You remain responsible for your pet's safety. Always:

  • Provide fresh water, shade, and ventilation in hot weather;
  • Never leave a pet in a hot car or an enclosed hot space, with or without a cooling product;
  • Watch for signs of overheating (heavy panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, collapse) and seek immediate veterinary care if they appear — flat-faced (brachycephalic) and senior pets are especially at risk;
  • Supervise your pet with any new product. Although our mats are made bite-resistant, no pet product is indestructible — discontinue use and remove the product if your pet chews, tears, or ingests any part of it, and contact your veterinarian if ingestion is suspected.

To the extent permitted by law, Coziekin is not liable for injury, illness, or loss arising from misuse, lack of supervision, or reliance on any product as a substitute for veterinary care or basic heat precautions.

6. Intellectual Property

All Site content — text, graphics, logos, images, and their compilation — is the property of Coziekin or its suppliers and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell, scrape, or exploit Site content, or use our brand name "Coziekin", logos, or product names without prior written permission.

7. Reviews and User-Submitted Content

If you submit a review, photo, video, or other content to the Site or our social channels, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display it for marketing and operational purposes. You represent that your content is original, accurate, and does not infringe third-party rights. We may remove user content at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and all products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. See also the Product-Safety Notice in Section 5.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coziekin and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and fulfillment partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any product. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Coziekin and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

11. Force Majeure

Coziekin is not liable for failure or delay from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, extreme weather, pandemic, governmental action, supply-chain disruption, courier delays, or third-party service failures.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Puerto Rico, United States, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact hello@coziekin.com and attempt informal resolution for at least thirty (30) days.

13. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms, with our Privacy, Refund, and Shipping policies, are the entire agreement between you and Coziekin.

14. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time; changes are effective when posted. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
